This class is for children ags 3-K.
They stay with their families during the worship part of the service and are dismissed to the classroom after communion. During the sermon they learn about Bible stories to build a foundation for learning about the character of God and how to treat others as Jesus commands us to love God and one another. Sometimes they do crafts and activities and have snacks. We have several teachers who rotate to cover the class.
The children in grades 1-5 meet in their classroom after worship and communion. They will be dismissed at the appropriate time. During class time they will learn Bible stories appropriate for their age and see how they apply to their lives. Learning to show respect to others at all times is an important thing to learn about who Jesus is and how we should act towards others. These concepts will help children as they build friendships and learn to respect the adults in their lives.
God is working on growing our women's ministry. We had our first annual Ladies Retreat
March 10-11. It was a time of building bonds between us and growing in our relationships
and our faith. God was certainly moving in our midst and we are so grateful for the
opportunity and the backing of our church leadership. We are already beginning to
plan next year's retreat! Thanks for everyone's help and the speakers who brought
us messages of hope and renewal even in the time we live in. God is still in control!
